White clouds and Charity cricket clubs faceoff in the battle for a place in the semi-finals of the 2013 Zaaffran & Blueberry Hotel T20 which continues this weekend with three games, all to be played at the Kicukiro Oval. White Clouds will be seeking to revive their past glory following disappointing performances in the previous tournament. "The game against Charity CC is very crucial to us because it’s the determinant of whether we qualify for the semi-finals or not, so we’re taking it very seriously,” said Ann Ingabire, one of the White Clouds star players. Last week, Charity CC got a walk over after Kigali Angels players couldn’t make the required 11 playing numbers because most of their players were doing exams in school. On Sunday, all the four teams in group A will tussle it out with Telugu CC and Impala Titans CC (ITCC) both playing their first games against Indorwa CC and Right Guards CC respectively.  Even though Right Guards and Impala are in better positions to qualify for the last four having won their matches, defeat for either would leave the group wide open.Right Guards’ top order batsman Clinton Rubagumya is confident and believes Impala Titans have no chance against them. "We are currently the best team with an all round performance so it will be hard for them to win,” said Rubagumya. Group B teams played last week, with Victory Cricket Club failing to qualify for the semi-finals after losing to Kigali Cricket Club by two wickets. In that group, three teams; Challengers CC, Kerala Hunters CC and KCC, all with one win will be challenging for the two semis slots.
