Rwanda Football Federation in partnership with insurance company, Soras have staked cash prizes for Turbo King Football League monthly top scorers. "Every month, Ferwafa and Soras will be awarding the top scorer so as to attract young footballers to love the sport and encourage them to be future strikers,” the Ferwafa secretary general Michel Gasingwa said in a statement.According to Gasingwa, the award will always be given to the top scorer after four matches of the on-going Turbo King Football League. Musanze FC’s Congolese striker Wai Yeka will be the first beneficiary of the award as he currently tops the top scorer’s chart with five goals in four matches played. Going into this weekend’s round of fixtures, a total of 59 goals have been scored in 28 matches played after four rounds of matches.  It is reported that the award will be Rwf300,000.Yeka will receive his cheque after Sunday’s top of the table clash between Musanze in second place and third-placed Espoir FC at Ubworoherane stadium in Musanze. Reigning champions Rayon Sports, who are in action today against rivals Police FC at Amahoro stadium, at  3:30pm, lead the table with 10 points, level with both Musanze and Espoir but with a better goal difference. The DR Congo-born striker Yeka, who joined the then league new comers Musanze last season, netted five times in his debut campaign, but he has already scored as many in the first four Turbo King Football League matches this season."We are ready to give our best to win the match against Espoir, the victory means a lot for us and all players are fit.  It’s a home game which we must give everything to win and I am confident we shall win,” Musanze FC assistant coach Maurice Nshimiyimana alias Maso, told Saturday Sport yesterday. However, Espoir head coach Emmanuel Ruremesha, who joined the Southern Province side this season, is in no mood to let slip the chance to achieve his first target of the season, to make sure the team does not get involved in relegation dogfight. He said, "We are travelling to Musanze to win. It won’t be easy but it is surely possible (to get three points).”NOTE: See Saturday Sports magazine for full Turbo King Football League preview
