Singer-songwriter Jules Sentore has been quiet for some time. But the silence will soon be broken. We have it on good authority that Sentore is set to launch his debut album. Titled Muraho Neza, the concert will be held at Kigali Serena hotel on November 3."I have been busy putting together this album and I am excited that it’s now ready. I can’t wait to present it to the public. I encourage my fans to attend my concert. It’s going to be a live show, with great stage performances,” said Sentore.The 10-track album is a blend of folk songs and R&B ballads. With sounds rooted in Rwanda, Sentore’s lyrics reflect the precious heritages of the country’s culture.The singer will be joined by various artistes, such as Knowless, Gakondo group, Maria Yohana, Jean-Paul Samputu, Intore Masamba and a guest artiste from Burundi, among others.Entrance fee to the November 3 concert is Rwf5000 in the ordinary seats and Rwf10, 000 to the VIP section.Born into a musical family, Sentore began playing instruments at a very young age; he was first taught how to play musical instruments, like a drum and guitar.The 30-year-old is one of the 21 grandchildren of the late Athanase Sentore, the tunesmith famed for his exceptional traditional music, both locally and internationally.
