Tanzanian Bongo Flava star Diamond Platnumz, also known as Simba, became the first artiste to headline the Giants of Africa Festival in Kigali that runs until 19 August.

The week-long festival has brought together 250 youths from 16 African countries to take part in sports, entertainment, and cultural activities among others.

The ‘Babalao’ hit maker performed for thousands of revelers who had gathered at the BK arena to experience the opening ceremony of the Giants of Africa 20th anniversary. Flanked by his dancers, the singer, real name Abdul Naseeb Juma, Diamond entertained the audience through a thrilling performance on Sunday afternoon.

The sold out concert also saw performances from Rwandan musicians like Massamba Intore and Sherry Silver among others.

Platnumz thrilled thousands of revelers who enjoyed the show from the beginning to end.
