Rwanda's professional golfer Emmanuel Ruterana is hoping to turn around what has been a relatively poor season when he takes part in the 2013 Kabale Golf Open scheduled for next month in South Western Uganda.Ruterana confirmed his participation in the annual tournament yesterday, a few days after finishing eighth in the JBG money group held at East Africa’s oldest Golf Course in Entebbe."I have not been so successful this year in the different tournaments that I have participated in, it has been a disappointing season for me,” Rwandan number two pro golfer told Times Sport.He added, "I am now focused on next month’s Kabale Golf Open.”Although organisers are yet to specify the exact dates, the former Caddie and first Rwandan golfer to turn professional noted, "I don’t want to give up, I will keep working hard and seek improvements everyday in training.”The 16th Edition of the JBG Golf tourney, which is played on a stable ford (full handicap) format, saw Ruterana finish with a total gross of 156.Jinja-based professional golfer Fred Wanzala carded Six-Over Par with a gross score of 148 (after 36 holes), two strokes better than Vincent Byamukama (2013 Uganda Open Pro category winner) to win the JBG money group.
