Editor,Is this article saying there are 4,000 nurses working in Rwanda or that there are thousands that have not been registered or licensed to work legally? I think that 4,000 nurses working in Rwanda is much less than what has been communicated by the Ministry of Health.The fact that many nurses have not been authorised to work legally is also a concern. How are they hired? Who hires these nurses without legal permits? If nurses are not registered and licensed, how can we be sure of the quality of nursing care in Rwanda?
