The Government of Rwanda through the Ministry of Sports and Culture and Rwanda National Olympic Committee has signed a three-year deal with Erreà Sports Manufacturer to dress Rwandan teams. According to the chairman of the National Olympic Committee, Robert Bayigamba, Rwanda has entered a deal with the Italian sportswear manufacturers to supply the country with sportswear for all the national teams."We have signed a three-year contract with Errea to supply all the national teams with sportswear for international competitions,” Bayigamba confirmed. The former Sports minister added, "The orders are expected to be made in high qualities and huge quantities.”"We have not signed a fixed contract, but rather it will depend on the competition as we have many national teams and on each consignment they will reduce for us by 40% percent,” he revealed. He noted that they will be sending templates of the kits with, "our own design of choice”, and that the respective federations would be encouraged to design their own kits."It is a reputable company and we have seen what they have done for other teams, so we hope to have even better kits for future international competitions,” the RNOC boss explained. On when the first consignment is expected, Bayigamba said, "Anytime we need the national team kit, we will just place our order because the deal has already started.”The agreement includes manufacturing kits for the national teams for next year’s Commonwealth Games in Scotland and the Brazil Olympic Games in 2016.
