After a fruitful working tour to Rwanda last year, Cricket without Boundaries (CwB) is set to return to the county later this year.
The UK based charity organization, dedicated to helping, educating and developing local communities around the world through the spread and growth of cricket will tour Rwanda from November 7-22.
Headed by Paul Daniels (volunteer coach) Andy Hobbs, (trustee of CwB and head of cricket development at Sussex country Cricket club), Chris Kangis; (coach and trustee of CwB), and Nick Lowles (volunteer), the CWB team will have nine coaches for the first week and six for the second week.
During this time, CwB will tackle various areas including elite coaching, coach education, umpire training, and general coaching as well as offering sseminars on cricket development to local cricketers.
"The team is very excited about the tour. Obviously we would like to make an even bigger impact than that we did last time hence the greater number of coaches.
"We would like to be able to offer some elite coaching to both seniors and the up-coming players,” CwB’s tour coordinator Daniels said.
Like last year, CwB will use cricket to help develop personal skills ranging from basic teamwork to self-discipline and leadership.
