On Monday nights, Ange Umulisa graces Rwanda television screens to host Showtime, a popular entertainment programme. Her dress code and attires never disappoint. She manages to pull off a casual yet decent look probably making viewers question how she manages to pull off her look. This week she shares her fashion and style tips. How would you describe your dress sense?I would definitely describe my dress sense as simple but classy, sometimes too casual I’m afraid.....It mostly depends on the mood I wake up in.
What’s you favourite clothing item?I’ll say my tops; I don’t know what I would do without them.Where do you shop for clothes? All over really, mostly in town (KCT), I also know a personal shopper who always brings me clothes at home.I shop abroad anytime I get a chance to travel. It is a task for me to find jeans; I’m probably a bit too tall. So it’s easier for me to order my jeans online because I always get the perfect sizes. What do you consider when shopping clothes?I always go for something I’ll feel comfortable wearing and of course the outfit has to look good on me. I also make sure it accentuates my curves because not all clothes are made for me, I rarely go for designer labels as some designs are just not for my figure.Favourite fashion accessory? That is a really hard one.........I love both rings and necklaces, it is hard for me to choose which one I like more than the other. What is your favourite clothing item on a guy?I would say a shirt. When it’s the right size and fits well a man always looks elegant. What’s you favourite scent?Exotic scent, it’s very refreshing and soothing, I also like playing around with a mixture of body oils; the results are surprising.Any outfit you would like to be spotted in more often?(Laughs)I love high waist skirts and knee length dresses in my closet but I never really use them. So I would definitely like to put them to use more often.Fashion advice?Always wear something you feel comfortable in and make sure you like your reflection in the mirror because once you are out of the house, it won’t be any different if you hated it before you left your home; it could only get worse. Ladies, accessories make a huge difference on an outfit, try them out.
