THE national men’s cricket team has started preparations for the upcoming triangular series with Uganda and Marylebone Cricket Club slated for October 11-14 in Kampala.
According to Rwanda Cricket Association’s General Manager Joshua Mwanja, who also doubles as the team’s head coach, the triangular series will see Rwanda team playing two T20’s and one 50 over game.
"Playing against tough teams will help our players develop more skills and be more competitive,” the former Ugandan international top order batsman told Times Sport on Wednesday.
"We are excited about this trip as it will give match practice to the national team which is preparing for the Division 3 ICC T20 Tournament in South Africa next year,” said the team manager Steven Musaale.
