The final which is due this weekend will see NUR taking on APR in the final of the Play-offs at Amahoro indoor stadium after winning their respective semi-final matches last weekend. NUR head coach Fidele Nyirimana told Times Sport yesterday, "Our aim is to win the league title. We have been performing well in the league this season and I believe our players have the right mentality to emerge victors of the weekend’s finale,” Last week, the reigning champions APR beat Lycee de Nyanza (LDN) 3-0 before NUR saw off INATEK by a similar score line. "We have been prepared for the final, our players are fit and well prepared, so I am optimistic we are well set for the title,” added Nyirimana.The two rivals will face-off on October 13 and the winner will be the 2013 volleyball national league title Champions. Both sides will go into the final tied on 47 points. In the women category, Rwanda Revenue Authority will face APR in the Playoff final after both registered identical 3-0 wins against Ruhango and St Alloys respectively in the semis.
