Ducks belong to the family of Birds. If they have been raised alone they think that they are part of whatever flock is around them.

Ducks eat snails, slugs and small insects. Ducks keep clean by picking dirt from their feathers using their beaks. They also make their nests with feathers plucked from their chest.

Ducks were once wild birds until they were domesticated by the Chinese hundreds of years ago. Pet ducks will entertain you with their clowning around and funny tricks. They should always be kept clean so that they do not smell.
