The Rwanda Stock Exchange recorded a total turnover of Rwf21.7m from 103,400 Bank of Kigali and 3,600 Bralirwa shares traded in five deals.This differs with last Monday’s trading results as no shares were traded then. However, the bourse recorded a comeback during the week, with Rwf270m from 1.5m Bank of Kigali shares traded last Tuesday, Rwf5.3m from 500 Bank of Kigali and 6,200 Bralirwa shares traded in four deals on Wednesday, Rwf118.4m from 654,300 Bank of Kigali and 900 Bralirwa shares traded in twelve deals on Thursday and Rwf25.4m from 140,900 Bank of Kigali shares traded in four deals on Friday.The Rwanda Stock Exchange share index went down 0.75 points to close at 217.89 points compared to last Monday’s 218.64 points.Both Bank of Kigali and Bralirwa shares traded and closed at Rwf180 and Rwf845 respectively, the lender’s share price going up by Rwf1 and the brewer going down by Rwf5 compared to last Monday’s closing prices of Rwf179 and Rwf850 respectively.Kenya Commercial Bank shares last transacted at Rwf175 while Nation Media Group shares last transacted at Rwf1,200.At the end of formal trading hours, there were outstanding bids of 622,200 Bank of Kigali shares at between Rwf175 and Rwf180 and outstanding offers of 301,400 shares at between Rwf185 and Rwf197. On the Bralirwa counter, there were outstanding offers of 1,111,900 shares at between Rwf845 and Rwf890 and no outstanding bids. The Kenya Commercial Bank counter had an outstanding bid of 5,000 shares at Rwf180 and no outstanding offers.
