Tanzanian Bongo Flava star Diamond Platnumz also known as Simba, has promised to deliver a historical performance tomorrow at the sold-out opening concert of Giants of Africa 20th Anniversary.
"I love you, see you tomorrow at the BK Arena. Shut down!” the ‘Babalao’ hit maker said after a small performance during the International Youth Day Forum which is also part of the ongoing Giants of Africa Festival.
The Tanzanian mega star touched down in Kigali on Friday, August 11, and was immediately taken for sound check at the BK Arena.
He becomes the first artiste to headline the Giants of Africa Festival which will also see big stars like Davido, Tiwa Savage, Bruce Melodie and Tyla perform.

Tomorrow’s opening ceremony will also see musical performances by Diamond Platnumz himself, Sherrie Silver, and Massamba Intore.
Diamond Platnmuz last staged in Rwanda on August 27, 2019, during the closing of the first edition of Iwacu Muzika Festival.
The weeklong event attracted more than 250 youth from 16 countries in celebration of Giants of Africa's 20th anniversary.
