Police Football Club head coach, Sam Ssimbwa has promised supporters that the team will play entertaining football under him in the 2013/2014 season.The former Ugandan international winger, who also coached the now defunct Atraco FC in 2008, wants to see Police challenge for trophies.Ssimbwa and his team made a bright start to the season by beating newly promoted Esperance FC 2-0 on Sunday. Ssimbwa replaced Serbian Goran Kopunovic, who was in charge for three seasons.On Saturday, the Cops side will visit another new side in the league, Gicumbi FC, who lost 2-1 against reigning champions Rayon Sports."Much as we need to win matches and amass as many points as possible in the league, but we also must try to achieve it with some style. Under my reign, Police FC must play good football for the fans to enjoy,” the former Express FC (Uganda) coach told Times Sport on Wednesday.He added, "Football is just about winning, it is entertainment and that is what I need to bring to this club. We also need to challenge for trophies but that will come with time as we first have to get to know each other (coach and players) since I have just come and also the new players need time to blend in.”"The first thing, I want to play good football, and the most important for us is to try out to build the strong team,” he stated.Ssimbwa admitted that his team, didn’t play as well as he would have liked in the first game but is happy for the three points picked."In the first game we didn’t play well as I wanted, and I didn’t like it, but I promise to play better football in the coming matches as the season progresses.”
