National football league sponsors, Turbo King, have increased allocations to all 14 top flight division clubs by Rwf25 million for the 2013/14 season.

Last season, when Primus injected Rwf160m, clubs shared Rwf75m to cater for their expenses on match days, but with a further Rwf 25m increment, each club will get Rwf6.4m this season.

Bralirwa, through their Turbo King Beer brand, have injected Rwf171.2m into the 2013/14 season.  Turbo King replaced Primus, another Bralirwa product as the league’s brand sponsor.

The sponsorship package includes; Rwf30m for media expenses, Rwf90m to pay directly to the 14 league clubs, Rwf36.2 for administrative expenses and Rwf15m for performance costs.

Bralirwa’s Marketing Manager Martine Gatabazi said, " Football is loved all over the world as it is in Rwanda. Turbo King is proud to be associated with thousands of fans, who every weekend head to stadiums to watch their favourite team compete.”

Jan Van Velzen, Bralirwa’s Marketing Director said, "Turbo King has been a success story for Bralirwa. We want to link this success to the future of the national football league through the sponsorship of the league as it is part of Bralirwa’s commitment to corporate social responsibility.”

On top of the league sponsorship, Turbo King will spend Rwf160m in activations and media campaigns to ensure the fans live a new and complete experience of their favourite sport.
