Rwanda’s Olympic medal hopeful Dieudonne Disi failed to make any impression as he finished twelveth in the Meeting Gaz de France held in Paris on Friday night.

The 10.000m and half marathon national record holder clocked 7:50.81 to finish behind Kenyan rival Soi Edwin Cheruiyot, who used 7:36:71 to win the 3000m event.

The event which attracted a big number of Kenya runners saw Joseph Ebuya and Abraham Chebii finishing second and third.

Disi managed to grab three points from the Meeting Gaz de France Paris Saint-Denis which is the fourth of this year’s six fixtures which make up the ÅF Golden League 2008.

However, the points he won can’t earn him a shot at the Golden League $1 Million Jackpot that has come down to just two athletes, Kenya’s Pamela Jelimo (800m) and Croatia’s Blanka Vlasic (High Jump).
