The concert started at 10p.m. The stage sizzled as the spinners of the night dished out the best of sounds - keeping the crowd fervently dancing.Before Two 4 Real and Captain Dolla appeared on stage, Rwanda’s upcoming artistes Nicho and Shawn, Momo, Queen Cha and Bruce Melody electrified the crowd with energetic performances.Melody belted out a number of songs including the crowd’s favourites, Tubivemo, Telephone and Uzandabure, among others.Fans seemed to have eagerly been waiting for this day as they turned up in huge numbers. Rwanda’s famous singing duo Two 4 Real came on the stage at 1:30 am, doing a cappella of their popular song, Imitobe. The whole crowd danced and chanted along. Clad in a white jacket and matching black jeans and white sneakers, DJ Pius with his partner Maroon worked the crowd that had turned up for the Emesse vs Imitobe battle. The peak of the entertainment was from Captain Dolla, who also needed no introduction to the crowd. From Nene to Money and his famous hit track Emesse- among others, the songs kept the crowd alive and dancing throughout his performance."I am surprised that people from Rwanda know my songs and they like me a lot, I will be coming to check on my fans,” Dolla said.On Saturday, the battle between Emesse vs Imitobe continued to After 8 Bar and Restaurant in Nyamata, where music lovers got their share.
