Rwanda Motors and Hyundai will this week launch a Rwf80m modern motor showroom in Kigali.Dario Simbizi, the Rwanda Motors commercial director, said the showroom has been built according to international standards.Simbizi said the facility to be launched on Thursday will change the dynamics of Rwanda’s motor industry when it is unveiled. "We are confident that the new showroom will create consumer confidence and spark a health business competition, not only within the industry, but also among our trade partners,” he said.Simbizi said the showroom has the capacity to accommodate four commercial trucks, and eight passenger vehicles."The facility will also enables the company to provide quality brands at affordable prices,” Simbizi said.Sylvester Zacharia, the Hyundai finance manager, said the new facility will create more employment opportunities for the youth."When companies expand their modes of operation, they make a crucial economic contribution through creation of jobs and revenue collections, which ultimately sparks the country’s economic growth.”Rwanda Motors started in 1967 and is owned by Belgium Group of Companies. The company sells 120 vehicles annually. Its performance has attracted mergers with other companies, including NEX Motors Hyundia, Tata and Suzuki.The company is currently supplying latest models ranging from Accent, Veloster, Elantra to Genesis.
