Nesta, 16, has written a number of songs, performed at numerous jam sessions and has also performed with his father Natty Dread, a famous and celebrated reggae vocalist.

My perfect weekend is about getting away from home and hanging out with friends. To me, the nature of the place does not.

It might be at the beach or something like that but what is most important is having fun without the stress of parents.
On a perfect weekend back home in Italy, I will wake up kind of early and figure out where I will spend my weekend.

Sometimes I hookup with my friends and we go for camping or sometimes to the beach. But now that I’m in my holidays in Rwanda, I’m trying to make the most of this time working on my private projects, liking writing songs and reading lots of books.

I sometimes help my father in his projects when necessary.
I wake up at around 10 a.m. and get into a brief conversation with my dad. I take a shower and then have a small breakfast of milk and chapattis. That’s my favourite breakfast; I would hate to miss it!

After breakfast, I will go back to my room and get busy with my private business or go somewhere with my dad. Sometimes at weekend, I must be honest, I’m not in the mood for hanging out with anyone, not even my dad or mum, but to just stay by myself and relax in my room.
