American shooting guard Cleveland Thomas Jr has completed his move to Mexican Club Dorados de Chihuahua.
The 29-year-old has been a key player for Rwanda Energy Group in the past two years, helping the team to win two consecutive national basketball league championships (2022 and 2023) and twice qualifying them to the quarterfinals of the Basketball Africa League (BAL).

"Selected to the All-Star Game in the Rwanda Basketball League in Central Africa, Cleveland Thomas has joined our golden family," the club posted on their social media.
Based in Chihuahua, Mexican, Dorados de Chihuahua is a professional basketball team playing in the East Division of the Liga Nacional de Baloncesto Profesional (LNBP).
Thomas Jr leaves behind a big gap that REG will have to fill as the local league playoffs approach.
Besides REG, Thomas Jr previously had spells with Al-Ahli Benghazi in Libya and Beirut Club in the Lebanese Basketball League (LBL).
