Primus League champions Rayon Sports are on the verge of sealing a two-year deal with Ugandan striker Peter Musime from Kenyan Premier League side Bandari Football Club.Rayon Secretary General Olivier Gakwaya told Times Sport yesterday said that the 21-year-old striker is expected in the country this week for trials with the Nyanza-based side."We want to assess his level before we could commit ourselves to a long-term deal. We need a key striker who can be pivotal for the club in the upcoming season.”Meanwhile, the blues have agreed personal terms with APR striker Jacques Cyubahiro and hope to sign him any time soon.Rayon have stepped up their search for a top striker after a failed bid to land Burundian international Abdul Razak Fiston from Lydia Ludic.The champions have already signed Jean Paul Havugarurema, Moses Kanamugire from La Jeunesse, Djihad Bizimana (Etincelles), Arafat Serugendo (Mukura), Claude Rwaka (La Jeunesse), Robert Ndatimana (Isonga) and stopper Jean Luc ‘Bakame’ Ndayishimiye (APR).Gakwaya noted that Rayon have a good team, which only needs to be strengthened in a few areas so it could mount a successful 2013/14 season.
