Linceaux Academy qualified to represent Rwanda in the continental youth football camp after beating Rwamagana 3-0 in the final game played on June 30 at Stade de Kigali.
The camp will include teams from 16 African countries that won their country’s respective Airtel Raising Stars Championships.
At the end of the one-week camp, scouts of Barclays Premier League side Arsenal will select the most impressive youngsters, who would go for further training at the London team’s indoor training facilities.
According to the Ferwafa official in-charge of young talents detection Aloys Kanamugire, the team (Lionceaux) will depart for Lagos on September 15.
