Daniela met Sam at an introduction ceremony. Sam was a high school friend to the bride while Daniela was a first cousin to the bride. The bride introduced Daniela to Sam to get her a lift home. The introduction ceremony was held like 10kilometers off the main road and public transport was very hard to get. Sam offered to drop Daniela to the nearby trading centre to get public transport back home. On the way, Sam asked Daniela questions about her love life, career, and other personal things. Daniela answered all the questions and even told Sam how she was on her annual leave. They talked about different things and Sam offered to actually drop Daniela home instead of the initial plan of dropping her at the trading centre.  But amidst getting to know each, Sam told Daniela about a friend who was looking for girls to work in sales and marketing for a telecommunication company. Daniela was excited and asked Sam how she could get connected since she wanted to apply for the job. Sam instantly called his friend and they made plans to meet with Daniela that same day. It was 5:30pm when Daniela reached home. She changed into more casual clothes since she was dressed in traditional wear while Sam was parked at the gate, waiting for her. She decided not to carry a handbag but she pocketed some money and left. Sam was supposed to meet his friend at a bar and restaurant, which was also a guest house. On reaching, Sam and Daniela first sat at the bar. After a few minutes, Sam stood up and went to the back of the place while talking on phone. Daniela was about to order something to drink when Sam returned and asked her to follow him. Daniela didn’t hesitate thinking they were going to meet Sam’s friend.  They walked through a corridor of rooms and Daniela got the shock of her life. Sam pulled out a key from his pocket and opened the room with a properly laid bed. Sam asked Daniela to get in. Instantly, Daniela asked Sam why he had booked a room and Sam said that the restaurant area was so noisy. They would wait for his friend in the room. Daniela just turned and walked away because she could not see herself in a hotel room with a man she barely knew. Sam came running after Daniela saying it’s not what she thought it was but she could not be convinced.  She left thinking of the dangers she had put herself into and she asked herself if the job or Sam’s friend even existed!
