MondayMorocco 1-0 RwandaRWANDA’S Under-20 football team ended their 2013 Francophone Games preparations on a poor note losing their last build-up match against Morocco in Nice on Monday.The team, which has spent two weeks in France gearing up for this year’s edition of the Francophone Games, lost 1-0 to Morocco to extend their losing streak to three matches after defeats to Racing Club Grasse and Rocheville.Head coach Richard Tardy will now have to work hard to fix whatever loopholes that led to these back to back defeats in time for their opening match against Congo Brazzaville on September 6.The Junior Wasps will then take on Canada two days after playing their African counterparts, and then wind up the group stage against hosts France on September 10. Meanwhile, Rayon Sports midfielder Djihad Bizimana departed for France on Monday to replace injured Eric Nsabimana, who is set for an operation this week.In a related development, the cycling team which will represent Rwanda in the Games, left for Nice on Monday ahead of their own competition due on September 8.The team is made up of six riders namely; Valens Ndayisenga, Patrick Byukusenge, Emmanuel Rudahunga, Jean Bosco Nsengimana, Emille Bintunimana and South Africa-based Janvier Hadi, who will link up with the rest of the squad in Nice. Apart from football and cycling, Rwanda will also field competitors in athletics, swimming, boxing, Judo and culture.
