RWANDA Football Federation will award the players of the year in both male and female categories on September 14 at Sports View Hotel.The award, the first of its kind in the country, will go to the best players in men and women categories in the 2012/13 national football league season.According to Ferwafa Secretary General Michel Gasingwa, the best players will be nominated by sports journalists, captains and coaches of first and second division leagues as well as the women football league.Voting started Monday and will end on Wednesday at midnight. After that, a technical commission will pick the three players with the most votes in each category.The voting panel will then nominate the best player among the three shortlisted players in each category, from September 11 to 13.
