Rwandan youth together with their Germany counterparts on Friday held their first get together meeting aimed at promoting youth cooperation and cultural exchanges at bilateral level.The forum held in the Germany capital, Berlin was organised by the German-Rwanda Youth Network and friends of Rwanda.The youth activism for Rwanda conference was held under the theme "Youth Engagement for Rwanda: From youth for youth, let’s move our world”.Speaking at the event, Elisabeth Kaneza, the chairperson of Rwanda Connection said that the meeting aimed at giving young Rwanda-Germany people a platform to share ideas and learn from each other."We are one world. We are global citizens and the reality is, for others it’s not. This is a challenge we must face and fight to overcome. We are the ones who are going to lead this world and this will only come to pass if we are ready to lead and take this responsibility," she said.Kaneza called upon participants to actively engage young people and create more opportunities for them so that they can share experiences.The first German-Rwandan Youth Meeting was first launched on August 24, 2013 in the city of Holzheim in the framework of the Rwanda Day.
