Album launches to spice up MTN’s 15th anniversary celebrations

The campaign to celebrate MTN’s 15th anniversary will kick off with Uncle Austin’s album launch scheduled for August 30 at the Gikondo Expo grounds.

The campaign to celebrate MTN’s 15th anniversary will kick off with Uncle Austin’s album launch scheduled for August 30 at the Gikondo Expo grounds.Unveiling MTN’s four-months long celebration plans, Alain Numa, the company’s promotion and sponsorship coordinator, said that the telecom firmwill be using their ambassadors to entertain their customers who have supported them for the past 15 years."Our 15th anniversary celebrations will start with Uncle Austin’s album launch followed by Mani Martin’s launch due 1st September at the Serena hotel. The celebrations will be climaxed with Jay Polly’s album launch in December,” Numa said Friday"When we team up with artistes, it’s a win-win situation. We are able to reach out to our clients and at the same time promote the artistes. When the artistes appear on our billboards, they are not only advertising MTN but they are also advertising themselves,” he added.Numa also said that the anniversary celebrations will be coupled with various activities that include promotional activities, sports events, and conferences among others.Uncle Austin, Jay Polly, Knowless, Mani Martin and comedian Arthur Nkusi are the MTN Rwanda ambassadors who will put up thrilling performances to the telecom subscribers.The ambassadors commended the telecom company for its support in the growth of their career and promised to do their best to entertain the public."We are thankful to MTN for the support it gives us. We have been able to achieve a lot through our partnership,” said Mani Martin on behalf of other ambassadors ‘Mani Martin Live 2013’ concert will take place on September 1 at Kigali Serena Hotel.
