"RPF Inkotanyi will always deliver on its promises, we have never been about words only but about actions. We are committed to bettering the lives of all Rwandans," Kagame told cheering crowds. "RPF Inkotanyi stands for the dignity of all Rwandans and our ability to shape our future."
The Chairman of RPF Inkotanyi reminded party members that nothing can be achieved without hard work and working together. "Every Rwandan has a stake and we have the responsibility to work together for a common goal of development. We are determined to serve every Rwandan equally and work together to develop our nation."
"RPF has never expected to achieve without working hard", he continued, "we have always and will continue to work hard to achieve our goals. We pledge development, electricity and water for all, continuous improvement to health care and education".
RPF-led coalition comprises of RPF Inkotanyi, Ideal Democratic Party (PDI), Parti Socialiste Rwandais (PSR), Parti du Progrès et la Concorde (PPC) and Centrist Democratic Party (PDC).
The Parliament has 80 seats, but only 53 will be contested for through universal adult suffrage, while the remaining 27 are reserved for special interest groups.
According to the electoral calendar, campaigns are expected to run for three weeks ending on September 15 while elections will be held from September 16-19.
