Five level C coaches for upgrade course in Germany

Five Level C local football coaches have been selected to go for a two-week Level B course in Germany, the five-coaches left the country yesterday for the course that will run from August 26 to September 13.

Five Level C local football coaches have been selected to go for a two-week Level B course in Germany, the five-coaches left the country yesterday for the course that will run from August 26 to September 13.The five coaches, who earned their current status from Germany, include; Anne Mbonimpa, owns a girls’ football training centre in Kicukiro District, Hassan Muhire and Mohamed Ntibategwa, coaches of second division sides Gasabo and Bugesera FC.The others are; Thierry Hitimana, the team manager of league champions Rayon Sports and AS Kigali women football team head coach Grace Nyinawumuntu.Gasabo FC coach Muhire got his Level C in 2007, AS Kigali’s Nyinawumuntu earned hers in 2009, while Mbonimpa, former AS Kigali coach Thierry Hitimana and newly appointed Bugesera FC coach Ntibategwa, attained theirs last year.In an interview with Times Sport before departure, Nyinawumuntu, who is by far the best female football coach in Rwanda, said, "I am happy to be part of the five coaches going for the next level (Level B) of coaching.”The former Rwanda national team central defender has won a record five consecutive national women football league titles with the City of Kigali sponsored AS Kigali.
