Newly appointed Espoir coach Emmanuel Ruremesha wants the Western Province giants to finish among the top four in the upcoming 2013/14 Primus Football National League.

Speaking to Times Sport yesterday, the former Kibuye, Atraco, Mukura, Rayon Sports and La Jeunesse tactician sounded a determined man who is optimistic in his ambition just days before the league returns – on September 21.

"I am confident that my team can finish among the top four. We have had good preparations and are good to go,” he said.

He added: "I made good signings and managed to extend contracts for our top players whose contracts were about to expire. I now have a solid and good squad which will contend for maximum points against big clubs,” added Ruremesha.

Espoir finished tenth in the 2012/13 league.

Ruremesha replaced Sogonya Hamisi Kishi and the club signed a couple of players, including former La Jeunesse trio Kassim Habyarimana, Andrew Lomami and Jean Marie Safari, as well as Phocus Musabyimana  (Amagaju) and goalie Bate Shamilu from SC Kiyovu.

Ruremesha says he intends to make two more signings before the new season gets underway.

The Western Province-based side says it has put aside Rwf60 million as budget for the upcoming Primus National Football League season.
