Hope Junior Academy student to promote ‘Inanga’ in America

Emmanuel Harorimana, a student of  Hope Junior Academy has promised to ably represent the country at the   World Peace Orchestra. Harorimana will be  the only Rwandan representative at the  Peace concert which  will take place in New York City at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts on September 10.  He  will demonstrate his gift of playing the Inanga instrument and Rwandan culture in general.

Emmanuel Harorimana, a student of  Hope Junior Academy has promised to ably represent the country at the   World Peace Orchestra. Harorimana will be  the only Rwandan representative at the  Peace concert which  will take place in New York City at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts on September 10.  He  will demonstrate his gift of playing the Inanga instrument and Rwandan culture in general.This concert organised  by the World Peace Orchestra aims at bringing together  young traditional musicians from all over the world to contribute and encourage people to seek peace and that through their talents they could use their culture and encourage people to live in peace.   The performances will take place at various places in different parts of New York State. " I believe that I will  successfully represent Rwanda on such a stage,”  Harorimana said.Isa Gokturk Yilmaz, the headmaster of  Hope Junior Academy said the objective of  the concert is in line with the schools vision.
