There was low business at the bourse yesterday compared to last Monday with only 2,100 Bralirwa shares exchanging hands. The total turnover for the day was Rwf1.8m down from Rwf11.5m recorded in four deals of 800 Bank of Kigali shares and 13,200 Bralirwa shares last Monday.The brewer traded and closed at Rwf860, a decline of Rwf10 compared to Friday’s close of Rwf870.The drop in business affected the Rwanda Stock Exchange Share Index, which shed 2.02 points compared to Friday, to close at 221.71.The Bank of Kigali counter was quiet yesterday. A total of 2,800 Kenya Commercial Bank shares were traded at Rwf175 on Friday. Nation Media Group shares last transacted at Rwf1,200.At the end of formal trading hours, there were outstanding offers of 863,200 Bank of Kigali shares between Rwf183 and Rwf200 and no outstanding bids.On the Bralirwa counter, there was an outstanding bid for 900 shares at Rwf860 and outstanding offers of 126,800 shares between Rwf870 and Rwf900.
