Rwanda’s U21 national volleyball team won their third consecutive warm-up match with a 3-0 (25-12, 25-20 and 25-22) win over Turkish side IBB Volleyball Club on Friday.

Paul Bitok’s team continues preparation for its maiden appearance in World Junior Championships, which start on August 22 in the Turkish cities of Ankara and Izmir.

It was the third win in a row for Rwanda’s junior team following wins against Fenerbache Volleyball Club 3-0 and 3-0 on Monday and Wednesday respectively.

The team is slated to play a fourth build-up match against ARKAS Volleyball club on Sunday (today) before finishing their preparations against Izmir Volleyball Club on  Tuesday, one day before the world championships starts.

Rwanda is placed in Pool C with USA, Tunisia, Canada and the 2011 bronze medalists Serbia.
