APR women wrapped up the national league title in some style after walloping Pepenier 7-0 on Sunday at Red Cross grounds.

The military side scored 6 goals in the first half through Emeryne Izabayo (9), Hyacinthe Uwigeneye (10, 17, and 23), Olive Mboneza (27), and Dative Murekatete (29). Jean d’arc Nehema scored the sixth in the 89th minute.

APR on 40 points, were crowned champions in their debut season with four games remaining.

Musanze on 29 points remain second after their 8-0 win over Remera.

Meanwhile, today APR visits Remera without their head coach who traveled to Germany on Sunday for a training course.
