Editor,If justice is to be served, Wivine Mumba should be reminded that Sylvestre Mudacumura, a man who was among key masterminds of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi and the current Supreme Commander of the Army of the FDLR, which has continued to carry out crimes against humanity in the DRC until today, is safe and sound at his headquarters, on the hills of Masisi.The minister should also be reminded that Mudacumura is still the man in charge of these genocidal forces operating in the Eastern DRC, responsible for numerous war crimes -- rape, murder, and mutilation -- in Congo.Mumba should start and seek justice from home; by apprehending and producing Mudacumura and his cohorts in a court of law, rather than these nonsensical Kabuki dance and selective justice requests.AR, USAReaction to the story, "Rwanda invites DR Congo justice minister over extradition request”, (The New Times, August 8)
