Editor,Kudos to everyone involved and associated with this project. We also want books telling the same story in shelves of our public and home libraries. I almost sought to meet the Head of State, to demand that memories of the journey through the liberation of Rwanda be kept alive through such initiatives; little did I know (much to my pleasure) that it was in the pipeline.

Let it be told in the story that struggle for self-reliance continues.Chaz Kalisimbi, Kigali, Rwanda**************************You are right about the need to teach your history to your children. However, history is a perspective. Here in the USA, the story of our Civil War is taught differently in the south of the country than it is in the north. Also, when I was in high school, I learned about World War II and the great things Americans did to liberate the Europeans; however, in Paris during my studies there at the university, I couldn’t believe we were studying about the same war: quite a different perspective of American involvement.I hope this movie gives an especially good view of how Rwanda is headed towards great things. Please know that your story does not go untold. I am a high school teacher of French and all of my students every year learn about Africa with a special emphasis on Rwanda.I have books about reconciliation and about many good things that are going on in Rwanda. Best of luck to all of you.Christine Boisvert, Maine, USAReactions to the story, "Hollywood to produce Rwanda liberation movie”, (The New Times, August 12)
