According to the club secretary general, Maitre Olivier Mulindahabi, the team under the guidance of Burundian coach Cedric Kaze, started with 21 players, mostly new players some of then on trials.
"We have several new faces on the team, which started pre-season training on Monday ahead of the new season. The new players will be assessed by the coaches, who will determine the ones we should sign,” he told Times Sport on Wednesday.
The Yellow and Black side that finished fourth last season in the league are planning to arrange some pre-season friendly matches in Burundi.
The club has already signed several new players including the Burundian duo of Claude Nahimana and Hussein Kiiza from Burundian side Atletico, Djarudi Ntakirutimana from Musanze FC, Nowa Habimana, Euphrem Kabayiza from second division side Bugesera FC and Protogene Rukundo from relegated Etincelles FC.
