The thing about the Park View Courts Hotel in Nyarutarama is that, unlike your ordinary hotel stay, while here you will have your own kitchen unit at your disposal.Whether you just want to make a cup of coffee, whip up an omelette, or are plotting to stage a huge feast with your group in the evening, your decently equipped kitchen will be there for your exclusive use. And no, you don’t have to share the kitchen with tens of other strangers as is done in those dormitory-style backpacker’s hostels dotted around the country. Opened to much pomp and fanfare in May 2010, this apartment hotel offers both hotel and apartment service. The bright pink structures espouse a mildly exotic appearance, thanks in part to the motley crew of architects that were drawn from Rwanda, Uganda, and South Africa. The apartments lend the facility a rather homely feel and, 25 in total, are equipped with the usual hotel suite fare; DSTV, comfy sofas, internet, plus of course home and kitchen stuff. They run a small but well-stocked grocery shop on the premises just so that your home-away-from-home experience runs un-interrupted. It is obvious that they were designed with the long staying guest and family outings in mind. The apartments are categorised into the single bedroom (12) two bedroom(10), and 3 VIP suites. Needless to say, the VIP suites hoard all the best cascading views from the Nyarutarama Gold and Tennis Courts to themselves.  Talking of tennis, the hotel has cultivated a cordial working relationship with the nearby Tennis Courts, to the effect that guests are free to cross over into the lawns, and once there, you have a choice to try out the gym, play a game of tennis, or simply watch the stillness of the swimming pool. Although not free, these amenities come at subsidized rates for Park View’s in-house guests.
