DAR-ES-SALAAM - Several Dutch football legends have in the past stirred controversial headlines with grabbing statements.

When still in England, Ruud Gullit coined out the term sexy football, referring to sleek, free-flowing football that he wanted his team to be displaying to crowds.

APR’s Dutch coach Rene Feller in an interview with Times Sport said that there is no need to panic as APR is the best team in the tournament.

Commenting on the 2-2 draw against Tanzania’s Yanga Africans, Feller lauded his team saying that the team played good football and promised to give Miembeni (Zanzibar) on Wednesday a real beating.

"Yanga is a good side and the crowd was behind them due to the factor that they are at home but my team played the best football. We are a good team because we play beautiful football,” Feller boasted.

He added, "I have faith in my own team. I don’t have any problem with the players; they are in good shape and ready to give it a go and we are improving match by match, learning from our past mistakes.

"We have done everything to ensure that we win this title. I have a young side which is hungry for success and I hope they will overcome this set- back in the next game.” The military side is chasing a third Cecafa/ Kagame Cup title after winning it in 2004 and 2007.

Mbuyu scored a brace to secure a two-all draw against Yanga in a pulsating match of the Kagame Cup at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam on Sunday.

Yanga’s coach Dusan Kondic said he was satisfied with his team is performance but his opposite number Felle said the was contented with the results but not the way his boys played.

APR will rely on their sensational duo of twin brothers Mbuyu and Kabenga Twite, who Feller referred to as the best for the magic that would inspire them to reclaiming the East and Central Africa Club Championship.
