While some children enjoy eating fruits, others need to be persuaded to take some. Fruits and water are among the few things children should be encouraged to take daily.

Children will not eat any fruit that is given to them. They are selective so they need to be given their favourite fruits.

A child might prefer a sweet banana to a pineapple, an orange to an apple. To encourage children to eat more fruits, give them a variety so that they chose the fruits they like most.

Give fruits to children any time they feel like eating them. It is also advisable to pack some fruits for children when going to school.

Eating fruits protects a child from dehydration. Other than that fruits help the body to fight against some diseases like flu and cough. Fruits are important for any child’s health.
