Under the Clinton Global Initiative, President Clinton visited Camp Kanombe Primary School in Kicukiro District as part of Procter and Gamble’s children safe drinking water programme, where he watched a water purification process. President Clinton also visited a new coffee roasting factory, which is being built through Clinton Foundation’s Clinton Hunter Development Initiative along with the National Agricultural Export Development Board. The 42nd President of the United States also visited the University Teaching Hospital of Kigali (CHUK) where Rwandan and American doctors teach medical students in classroom and clinical settings.
