APR’S new striker Michel Ndahinduka believes he made the right choice to join the military side and is ready to help the club compete for honours in the upcoming season.Ndahinduka signed from second division outfit Bugesera FC after inspiring the club to the semi-finals of the Peace Cup against Malaria.He made his Amavubi Stars’ debut in the 2-1 home defeat  to Algeria in June at Amahoro stadium during the 2014 Fifa World Cup qualifiers, and scored his  international goal against Ethiopia in the return leg of the CHAN qualifier last weekend.His goal, although it won the game for hosts, it was not enough to send Rwanda to next year’s finals in South Africa after losing 6-5 on penalties following a 1-all aggregate draw over the two legs.After dominating the domestic scene in 2010/11 and 2011/12 – winning back-to-back trebles–the military side lost everything last season. But Ndahinduka is adamant his new team will bounce back next season.After taking part in APR’s first pre-season training on Wednesday, the striker said, "The club has quality players at its disposal, and with this in mind, I hope we will have a successful season.”"I never believed I would join APR but after sealing this dream move, I hope to give my best and I believe I have the ability to help the team win trophies for many years, starting next season,” added Ndahinduka.The 13-time league champions APR started pre-season training on Wednesday ahead of the 2013/14 season and the upcoming EAC Military Games due in Nairobi, Kenya from August 5-17.The club also, boasts new signings such as Patrick Sibomana, Charles Mwesigye Tibingana, Ernest Sugira and Olivier Kwizera.Seven of their young players, who had been loaned to Isonga FC have also returned to the military side following Isonga’s relegation.The players include; Abdul Rwatubyaye, Eric Rutanga, Suleiman Kakira, Abdul Sibomana, Bertrand Iradukunda, Fiston Nkizingabo, and Jules Moise Niyigena.
