Rwanda’s Fifa/Caf licensed referee Hudu Munyemana (R) is among nine referees who passed their medical and physical fitness test to officiate at the on-going Cecafa/Kagame Cup championship in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
Other centre referees who successfully underwent the tests include; Thomas Onyango (Kenya), Charles Mbaga (Tanzania) and Dennis Batte (Uganda).
The assistants who passed the test include; Samuel Mbenzu (Tanzania), Juma Ali Kombo (Zanzibar),
Tesfagiorgis Berhe (Eritrea), Mussie Kinde (Ethiopia) and Hesborn Mbogo (Kenya).
Three referees, two from Somalia and one from Burundi were sent home from tournament after failing the physical tests.
They include centre referees Abdi Abdile and Habonimana Bernard as well as assistant referees Ali Ahmed.
