Last season’s second division football league champions Esperance FC have signed four players on a two-year contract each ahead of the new season, which starts September.The new league entrants, who will be making the debut appearance in the top flight division, claimed the second division league title and Rwf2.5million of cash prize after beating Gicumbi FC 2-1 in the final.According to the club chairman, Donatien Nsengimana, the Kimisagara-based youthful side are hoping to impress on their league debut.Midfielders Elvis Sinayigaya and Fabrice Niyonzima signed from archrivals Gicumbi FC and Etoile de l’Est respectively, defender Fabien Nsengimana from Bugesera FC, while striker Dioples Nkusi, was without a team."We want to highlight the football talents of second division league players which is why next season we intend to will use the majority of players that led the team’s promotion plus few other young talented players from elsewhere,” Nsengimana told Times Sports on Tuesday.Esperance FC and Gicumbi FC both signed new coaches to lead in the top flight division next season with former Rayon Sports and Kiyovu coach Jean Baptiste Kayiranga taking over at Gicumbi, while ex-Bugesera FC head coach Camarade Banamwana joining the former.
