Two people died on the spot and two others were seriously injured in a grenade blast this evening in Nyabugogo, a busy trading hub in the City of Kigali.

The incident, which occurred at about 6:50pm near an abattoir, commonly known as "marathon”, also left 30 others with minor injuries, Police said in a statement.
