You have no idea on how misery loves company until you run into a cheated-on woman.  She will have lots of irritating comments, ranging from your bad hair-do to the wacky body spray that doesn’t suit a person your class. All this she says with no such ill intentions. It’s therapy to make her feel better for letting her spouse off the hook after catching him red-handed, cheating.Women have ridiculous reactions when it comes to a cheating spouse. Just this week, a 20-year-old woman in Nyanza, hacked her mother after catching her in bed with her husband. The furious daughter reached for a machete, launched her attack and it was only the alert neighbors who rushed the old woman to hospital, saving her life.Recently at a house party, a lady earned a bottle on the forehead after being caught making out with my friend, Ritah’s, boyfriend. "I would spare my man, but not the b**h. Chances are, she did the seducing,” said a furious Ritah.Much as friends tried to calm her down, Ritah got relieved after at least causing harm to the culprit, like she calls her. Meanwhile, in another gruesome case in Nyamirambo, at a bus stop two grown women fought vigorously over a man who had actually deserted both for at least a year. On realizing that exchanging vulgar insults wasn’t enough, the women engaged in a physical fight that left them bruised and with tattered dresses. I could go on and on, though I personally don’t know what my reaction would be if my own man cheated. Though I insist I would differ, I would probably harm or let off the hook, both parties, including the man.I wouldn’t fall for the ridiculous excuse of he was ‘seduced’, unless the dude confesses he was mentally down when the whole seduction process happened. Or perhaps if he had the evidence that it was an accident (he tripped and fell into another woman’s vagina).  Meanwhile, many women confess they would get to react according to the circumstances involved in the cheating. These grave circumstances included cheating with a minor, a relative and if he cheated in the matrimonial home. "Like if he cheated with a house-help, I would have all reasons to get violent,” says Esther Umutoni, a married woman.Meanwhile, often they say it’s inevitable for men to cheat. So how would you react if he did? Would you scream the house down, quietly walk away, or lock yourself in the bedroom for weeks?  Well, I for one would get violent. In the meantime I pray that that day never crosses my path.
