Editor,
It's about time for elders and those who are in leadership capacities to take responsibility of showing statesmanship by asking for forgiveness so that the youth of Rwanda can be free from this ugly past.
In order for healing and true reconciliation to take place, leaders and elders of segments of communities in our country have to take responsibility and seek forgiveness for those who participated in 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. A collective responsibility is necessary.
Community and religious leaders should lead the way.
