Anti-doping body to expose cheats

The national body on the use of illegal drugs in sports, ARDMES (Association Rwandaise de la Medicine du Sport) is set to release their final report on a doping research that begun early this year.

The national body on the use of illegal drugs in sports, ARDMES (Association Rwandaise de la Medicine du Sport) is set to release their final report on a doping research that begun early this year.

The research that has been carried out to test individuals who use drugs to increase their strength in sport will expose those individuals who have been found guilty of using these drugs on Sunday when the body converges at Amahoro stadium.

The research has been done in different sporting disciplines including football, karate, cycling, athletics, volleyball and handball.

According to Daniel Kwizera, the body’s secretary general, a two weeks survey was carried out in Musanze, Huye, Rubavu, Muhanga and Kigali city.
