July 14, first legEthiopia  vs RwandaAMAVUBI head coach Eric Nshimiyimana has named debutants midfielder Djamal Mwiseneza and defender James Tubane in the final squad which arrived in Ethiopia last night ahead of Sunday’s 2014 African Nations Championship [CHAN] qualifier against Walya Antelopes at the Addis Ababa stadium.Mwiseneza who plies his trade with Rayon Sports had taken long without being called to the national team ever since current Uganda Cranes coach Milutin Sredojovic Micho took over from Sellas Tetteh in 2011.The impressive midfielder was also ignored by Nshimiyimana when he took over from Micho in April this year when he handled 2014 World Cup qualifying matches against Mali and Algeria.Tubane, a good defender who guided AS Kigali to their first Peace Cup title since 2003 has made his maiden appearance on the  Wasps team.Other youthful players who made it on the 18-man squad include; Michel Ndahinduka who recently joined APR on a two-year contract, Mohamed Mushimiyimana [AS Kigali], Hamdan Bariyanga [APR] and Patrick Sibomana [Isonga].The former APR coach snubbed Tumaine Ntamuhanga [APR], Heritier Turatsinze [APR], Gad Niyonshuti [APR], Gerard Bikorimana [Rayon Sports], Emmanuel Sebanani [Police], Musa Mutuyimana [Police], Hassan Gasozera [AS Muhanga] and Steven Ntaribi [Isonga].Nshimiyimana’s side is expected to hold their first training at the Addis Ababa stadium on Saturday afternoon.Amavubi knows very well that they face a tough side on Sunday.
